To increase the performance of the fine time synchronization, we propose to use joint time synchronization and channel estimation based on the Maximum A Posteriori Probability criterion. Simulation results show that the probability of synchronization failure of the proposed synchronization algorithm is reduced as compared to existing methods. date: 2012-10-10 date_type: published full_text_status: none pres_type: paper pagerange: 46 -49 event_title: The 2012 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC) event_location: Hanoi, Vietnam event_dates: 10-12 October 2012 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Nguyen, Cong Luong and Mokraoui, Anissa and Duhamel, Pierre and Nguyen, Linh Trung (2012) Enhanced Time Synchronization in IEEE 802.11a System using SIGNAL Field and MAP Channel Estimation.
