Cognitive radio is considered as a core technology for future wireless communications in which the wireless spectrum can be dynamically shared between primary mobile network operators and secondary networks. Femtocell is a new mobile technology proposed for providing wireless voice and broadband services to customers in small areas such as the home, office or designated locations. In the paper, we present a cognitive femtocell-cellular network model which we consider as a mobile network model used for beyond 4G mobile communications. We will discuss selected channel allocation schemes and compare their performance obtained by computer simulation. date: 2013-03-06 date_type: published full_text_status: none pres_type: paper pagerange: 1-6 event_title: 2013 IEEE 11th International Symposium on Autonomous Decentralized Systems (ISADS) event_location: Mexico event_dates: 6-8 March 2013 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Nguyen, Kien Duc and Nguyen, Hoang Nam and Morino, Hiroaki (2013) Performance Study of Channel Allocation Schemes for Beyond 4G Cognitive Femtocell-Cellular Mobile Networks.
