The photoluminescence properties of glasses doped with Ce3+, Tb3+ and Sm3+ single, doubly and triply doped TeO2-B2O3-ZnO-Na2O (TBZN) were studied by mean of emission and excitation spectra. There was an overlap between Ce3+ emission and Tb3+, Sm3+ absorption in the wavelength range of 350–500 nm. Therefore, it was expected that an efficient energy transfer occurred from Ce3+ to Tb3+ and Ce3+ to Sm3+ ions. When excited by ultraviolet wavelengths the co-doped glasses emit a combination of blue, green and red orange forming white light. date: 2015 type: Article type: PeerReviewed identifier: Tran, Thi Hong and Pham, Duc Huyen Yen and Vu, Xuan Quang and Phan, Tien Dung (2015) Luminescence Properties of Ce/Tb/Sm Co-Doped Tellurite Glass for White Leds Application.
