The first change that makes Awerbuch-Schulman protocol better is to eliminate unnecessary messages used in the original version. The second change that also improves the protocol is to reduce the size of process messages. In addition, we suggest a self-stabilizing version of the Awerbuch-Schulman protocol as well. date: 2013 date_type: published contact_email: nguyendaitho@vnu.edu.vn full_text_status: public pres_type: paper pagerange: 122-126 event_title: Hội thảo quốc gia lần thứ XV: Một số vấn đề chọn lọc của Công nghệ thông tin và truyền thông event_location: Hanoi, Vietnam event_dates: December 3-4, 2012 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE referencetext: [1] Baruch Awerbuch, Israel Cidon, and Shay Kutten, “Optimal maintenance of a spanning tree,” Journal of the ACM, 55(4), Sep. 2008.
