The idea of the system is to build an information transceiver system for maritime vehicles similar to the Automatic Identification System but more active. The trans- mitter is automatically able to switch the suitable power level and the operating frequency from VHF/UHF band when at short distance to the shore to S band when at long distance to the shore to communicate with satellites. The receiver uses a low noise amplifier that based on a balanced configuration with some advantages. The calculated ship-to-satellite link budget when using S-band shows that the received power at satellite better than the one of the conventional system. The status data of the vessels are gathered at a ground station and displayed on a map to track their signs.} }
