During each lesson, students often do not have time to ask the instructor about the relevant issues of the subject that they want to answer. In addition, students often hesitate to talk directly with teachers about issues related to the content of the subject. The Question Answering (Q&A) system, therefore, is a useful tool to assist students and teachers to engage in interactive activities, especially in online courses. This research focuses on reviewing the state of the art of two respects as methods and techniques for developing question and answer systems, including issues of question classification, retrieval of information and extraction of answers as core components of the Q&A system. In addition, the paper proposes a model of an online questionnaire system for blended interactive learning activities which are being tested at a university training institution.
