This paper based on the first-order shear deformation plate theory (FSDT) and finite element method (FEM) to develop a new four-node plate element with nine degrees of freedom per node for static bending and vibration analysis of two-layer composite plate. The numerical results are compared with published data for some special cases. The effects of some parametric such as boundary condition, stiffness of shear connectors, height-to-width ratio are also performed to investigate. date: 2018 date_type: published full_text_status: none pres_type: poster event_title: 2018 Theme Meeting on Multiscale Modelling of Materials for Sustainable Development (ACCMS) event_location: Hanoi, Vietnam event_dates: 7-9 September 2018 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Pham, Van Vinh and Nguyen, Hoang Nam and Do, Van Thom and Nguyen, Minh Khoa and Nguyen, Dinh Duc (2018) Static bending and vibration analysis of two-layer composite plate based on first shear deformation theory using finite element method.
