"The nonlinear dynamic response and free vibration of functionally graded carbon nanotubes (FG-CNTs)\r\nreinforced composite truncated conical shells resting on elastic foundations in the thermal environment subjected to\r\naxial load are carried out. The truncated conical shells are reinforced by single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs)\r\nthat are assumed to be uniformly distributed (UD) or functionally graded (FG) distributed along the thickness\r\ndirection. The nonlinear equations are solved by both Galerkin method and Runge-Kutta method based on the\r\nclassical shell theory with the geometrical nonlinear in von Karman and using the form of two-component deflection\r\nfunction to solve the system of nonlinear partial differential equations. The material properties of FG-CNT\r\nreinforced composite shells are assumed to be temperature-dependent. Detailed studies for the influences of various\r\ntypes of distribution and volume fractions of carbon nanotubes, geometrical parameters, Winkler and Pasternak\r\nelastic foundations on the nonlinear dynamic response and free vibration of FG-CNTRC truncated conical shells are\r\nexamined."^^ .
