The laminated nanocomposite plates are reinforced by single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) that are assumed to be uniformly distributed (UD) or functionally graded (FG) distributed along the thickness direction. The laminated nanocomposite plates are made of various amorphous polymer matrices: Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and poly{(m-phenylenevinylene)-co-[(2,5-dioctoxy-p-phenylene) vinylene]} (PmPV). The nonlinear equations are solved by both Galerkin method and Runge-Kutta method based on Reddy’s third-order laminated plate theory.
