In the development of Boat Safe, we offer a mean of inland-waterway-oriented navigation, crash detection and post-crash emergency aid through smartphone application, which can be easily accessed at any time. We also propose the use of complementary filter on compass, gyroscope data for heading estimation with miniscule uncertainties.
