This paper presents the application of using Kalman filtering to filter the data which collected from Sharp GP2Y1010AU0F dust level sensor. A real system combined by two modules communicating with each other through a 2.4 GHz radio frequency line is designed to apply the method. One module collects and transforms data while the other one filters data with a Kalman filter then transfers this data to PC.} }
