However, they cannot be installed on navigational buoys because of disadvantages such as difficulty in balancing and easily damaging when colliding with external objects. A vertical axis wind turbine for navigation buoys has been developed. The report presents the structure development, simulation and design of a vertical axis wind turbines suitable for navigation buoys.
