Phototherapy has been used since ancient times using sunlight. Nowadays,\r\nthanks to the development of semiconductor technology, compact and convenient use of\r\nphototherapy devices can be manufactured. In this report, we present the results of\r\nfabricating a phototherapy device using multi-wavelength LEDs, in the range from red to\r\nnear-infrared. The device uses optical fiber bundles, very flexible to use, with an optical\r\npower of each output over 300mW, operating in pulsed and continuous mode. Techniques\r\nto use the equipment fabrication will be briefly described. Some basic parameters of LED\r\ndevices have been studied and investigated. The multi-wavelength phototherapy LED\r\ndevice could be used for research in open wound recovery, chronic wound healing, pain\r\nrelief, as well as treatment of current osteoarthritis diseases based on photobiomodulation\r\nmechanisms."^^ .
