Among the fabrication methods for nanofibers, electrospinning appears to be an intriguing technique, allowing the fabrication of nanofibers in a simple and inexpensive way. In this paper, we prepared and fabricated nanofibers using the electrospinning process with two polymers: gelatin and PVA. The process and the fabricated fibers were examined under scanning electron microscope. The effect of the polymeric concentration was also studied. The experimental results indicate that nanofibers were successfully fabricated, and higher polymer concentration leads to the uniformity of the fibers. In addition, the nanofiber mat with silver nanoparticles was successfully fabricated, opening the potential for medical applications of the fabricated fibers.} }
