In addition, the paper also presents a methodology for verifying the design of H264/AVC video encoder in the Hardware/Software co-emulating fashion. The design is implemented on the DE2 development board from Altera Corporation. The testbed can help us to evaluate effectively many aspects of the developed H.264/AVC video encoder.
