It has been demonstrated that NAC families played an important role in various biological processes in crops, particularly in abiotic stress response. This review summarizes the information of NAC families in numerous plant species. The functions of several NAC genes involving in the improvement of stress tolerance are discussed. Finally, some research orientations are proposed for further functional characterization of the NAC gene for the crop breeding strategy adaptable to the climate change type: Article type: PeerReviewed format: application/pdf language: en identifier: https://eprints.uet.vnu.edu.vn/eprints/id/eprint/4601/1/tap-chi-so-5.2021-final.12.pdf identifier: Pham, Cong Anh Tuyen and Chu, Duc Ha and Le, Thi Ngoc Quynh and Nguyen, Huu Kien and Phạm, Phuong Thu and Nguyễn, Quốc Trung and Nguyễn, Đức Bách and Nguyễn, Văn Lộc Potential roles of NAC transcription factor in the improvement of stress tolerance in Crops: A review.
