The hypothetical plate model above is formed from the fact that MEE materials have been receiving special attention from the research community owing to their specialized performance and coupled behavior under thermal, electric, magnetic, and mechanical loads, while FGM has been introducing for controlling material response to deformation, dynamic loading as well as to corrosion and wear, etc. The combination of these two materials in the sandwich plate model is expected to create a remarkable new sandwich model.
